Our Approach
We work with clients the way coaches prepare athletes for a game—helping them understand the rules, lean into their strengths, and read the field to make smart moves. Through curiosity, perspective, and reflection, we identify the muscles they need to strengthen, uncover their brilliance, and build agility through change.
We create a judgment-free space where clients can think out loud, explore ideas, and challenge assumptions. Using thought-provoking questions and active listening, we act as true partners—pushing them to stretch, broaden perspectives, and, most importantly, take action.
We coach leaders at every level—from executives (C-suite, VPs) to mid-level managers and senior individual contributors—across startups to Fortune 100 companies. We also offer coaching services to those newer to the workforce depending on their need. While our primary focus is on tech, we also work with product and marketing/advertising-related roles in outside industries. Our success is measured by the lasting value we create, regardless of company or sector.
How We're Different
We’ve worked with many executive coaches—and the one thing consistently missing was real, on-the-ground experience. We each spent more than a decade inside a single company, navigating constant change and ambiguity, internal politics, and external crises. We lived through the growing pains of a scrappy startup scaling into a large international organization—and all the messy phases in between.
No two companies are alike, but we believe firsthand experience is essential to truly understand our clients’ needs and the pressure and demands they face.
The Shift Story
The first chapter of both our careers began at Meta (then Facebook), where we joined before the IPO and long before the acquisitions (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.) that shaped it into the company it is today. We gained invaluable experience in how to succeed inside a rapidly growing organization—managing and coaching people, and building and leading large teams.
Taylor left at the end of 2018 to start her own coaching business. Around that time, Boo hired Taylor to support her through an internal career transition. Working together sparked a shared passion around people and organizational development, and an excitement to create something bigger—and Shift was born.
Since 2022, we’ve been serving leaders and companies around the world through coaching and consulting.

Boo Suleman
Co-Founder
Boo has 15 yrs of experience wearing many hats across the tech industry. She spent the majority of her career at Meta in global sales and marketing, and leading teams in the ads & business product group and responsible innovation. Previously, Boo was the Director of Strategy at a boutique strategy consulting firm. She is a certified professional coach with 320+ hrs of coach training and a yoga instructor. She lives in SF with her family.
Taylor Tilley
Co-Founder
Taylor has coached top talent across the tech industry to build strong management and leadership muscles, achieve upward mobility, navigate complex challenges, and create meaningful change for her clients. Taylor has run her own coaching business for the last 6 years and prior to coaching, she led global product marketing teams at Meta for 12 years. She lives in Miami with her family but spends as much time in London as possible, where many of her clients reside.
